Dr Shirin Parsno

Dr Shirin Parsno graduated as a dentist from the renowned Karolinska Institutet in Sweden in 1996.
In 2002 she studied postgraduate implantology with Professor Branemark at the Branemark Institute in Gothenburg.
In 2003 she completed her implant training with Professor Scher in London, and became a Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI). She is registered with the UK General Dental Council, no. 72794.
In 2013 she was awarded the prestigious diplomate of the ICOI, its highest award.
Dr Parsno also provides a mentoring programme for less experienced implant surgeons, in partnership with Osstem Implant UK
She is based with her own very experienced team at Nova Dental Care, but assists two other London practices as the consulting implantologist. She treats in excess of one hundred cases per year, including complex bite corrections.
Dr Parsno’s research interests include the use of nanotechnology in implantology and bone grafting. She has collaborated with experts at University College Hospital, London.
She is a visiting lecturer at various institutes, including Istanbul Aydin University, and Central Manchester University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
Dr Parsno is also an expert in facial rejuvenation. Her treatments include botulinum toxins, various fillers such as Radiesse ,Belotero , Juvederm , PRP injections and threading techniques but always used judiciously, resulting in subtle and natural enhancements.
Dr Shirin is a past Deacon of Incorporation of Wrights in Glasgow. She is also liveryman and member of the Worshipful Society of the Apothecaries.
Dr Parsno is fluent in English, Swedish, Turkish and Farsi as well as good working knowledge of German.
